Hello RLA parents-
This week students made several fun Halloween crafts, played in the autumn leaves, planted sprouting beans, worked on their yoga moves, and celebrated Kiaan’s birthday! Kids also continued learning about this month’s theme of Farms and Harvest. PreK students worked on learning all of their uppercase letters, KG/1st graders focused on improving their reading and spelling skills, and preschoolers learned as much as they could about the letter “E.” Everyone also continued to strengthen their mathematical and scientific skills. It was a successful week!
A few announcements and reminders:
Please read through everything carefully and add dates to your personal calendars.
We will be having Parent Orientations starting today and going through next week. We will go over curriculum, FAQ's, and other important talking points. If you haven’t already done so, add these dates to your calendars and please be on time so we can start promptly.
KG/1st grade: Today (Friday the 20th), 3:15-4pm
PreK: Monday, the 23rd, 3:15-4pm
Preschool: Tuesday, the 24th, 3:15-4pm
Scholastic books have arrived! Kids will unbox their books next week and get a chance to look through their new reading materials, and also share them with their friends.
Halloween (Oct. 31st) is a week from next Tuesday, and we would love for students to dress up! Please just make sure that costumes are PG (not too scary and no weapons).
Don’t forget to visit our social media pages to view photos from the week (no video this time)!
